Abstract

Post Modrenism Contrary to super narrative concepet,tries to strengthen the voice of/small cultural groups.In super narrative the smaller narrative ignored.in urdu literature many writers produced stories under the influence of sterioty literature theories.Abdullah Hussain,s very first novel, “Udas Naslien ” broke the tradition and gave importance to native  Narrative ,in wich common man,s thoughts presented.In the noval “Qaid” Novelist chose the locality of central Punjab.In the context of  small village “Rakhwal” writer discussed cultures , politics ,social religion ,mythes etc in artistic way.All his fiction as general , and “Qaid”speacially focused the rural society and its issues.In this article efforts have been made to analyse the novel “Qaid”is the context of Post Modren critical theories.
