NEW HISTORICISM IN URDU LITERATURE

Abstract

New Historicism in Urdu Literature is an interesting research work. It highlights the events in their true sense which is not presented by pure historians. Usually, Historians report the incidents, fights and wars as they are directed by their ruler. The prohibited and real picture of the event is presented by the literary persons in the form of poetry, prose, story, fiction and novels. In order to access the true picture of past events, it is mandatory to go through the literature of that era. In current research paper, it is tried and struggled to invite the attention of researchers that they should consult literature to comprehend the real sense of historical records
