Abstract

Research based analytical review of Mustansar Hussain Tarar’s selected travelogues. Travelogue writing is such a hobby in which a travelogue writer travels from place to place to satisfy his inner passion, He indulges in this habit to such extent. That he wants to see and go deeper and deeper for this urge to explore the world from oceans, rivers and deserts to the ups and downs of human’s life, the habits cultures and customs of the civilizations. I have also chosen such a renowned and majestic travelogue writer his whole life is a witness of discovery of the worlds far and near to it’s almost. He captured in his travelogues. So that the thirst for literature can be quenched. The actual number of his travelogues is 34 but I have selected some of them to analyze historically and geographically. The cultural heritages of the societies, languages and linguistics, the satire and humor, romanticism, exaggeration and the poetic sense of the civilization described by travelogue writer.
