Abstract
In the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) we find very useful guidance regarding human health, so he informed us about everything that is beneficial for human health and forbade everything that is harmful to health.
The survival of human health depends on food, which is one of the basic needs of health. This is the reason why Allah, the Exalted, gave a special order about food and drink, saying: "Eat and drink and do not exceed."
Not eating or not providing the body with the required amount of food is excess and if the reason for this action is that it is not possible for the body to maintain its relationship with the soul, it is like indirectly killing the body while killing oneself. It is forbidden to do so, the divine commandment is: "And do not kill yourselves; verily, Allah is Merciful to you." The same way, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade wasal (intermittent fasting) in fasting and said the reason for it: "Your body has a right over you". In the light of Islamic teachings, the goal of food is not only to fill the stomach, but its goal is very high and noble, and that is that a person can serve Allah by getting the required strength of the body through food, so in view of this pure goal, Islam He has exhorted his followers to avoid haram food, but has made the surety of acceptance of worship on halal food. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) explained the benefits of certain foods and encouraged to eat and forbade to eat due to the harmful aspects. In the article under review, in the light of the Prophet's Sunnah, we have tried to shed light on all those foods that are beneficial for human health and all those foods that are harmful to health. Therefore, the title of the article has been established.
