Abstract

Josh Maleeh Abaadi has earned the name in poetry specially in his long marvellous poems, that knock at the door of revolution. He comes as rebellion who wants to change the oppressed social system. In the perspective of imperia on subcontinent  suppression and socio-political movements of independence, all are the major themes of  his  everlasting work.

This article is a critical study of Josh`s long poems including his two “Yek baabi Nazmain” related to the dawn of freedom, revolution, humanism and other lofty ideas with great craftsmanship and poetic techniques grand diction and rhetorical enthusiasm. As a whole his tendency is toward the genre of epic and he has focussed on the tragic event of “Karbala” and the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain(A.H) and his family. Although he showed his great attachment with such event but he has never compromised his poetic art at any stage due to which becomes a distinguished poet among the lit of his contemporary poets.
