Abstract

Masud Mufti is one of those visionary authors who viewed this world through the lens of a thinker and emphatically responded to the prevailing injustices in society. He never restrained himself from raising his voice against the wide spread inequality and unjust practices of his time. In this article, he steps into the shoes of the socially manipulated writers to feel their pain. Apart from speaking against inhuman social practices against the writers, he utilized his public authority to provide justice to contemporary authors. He was very well aware that authors are a fundamental part of the community they live in and they won’t be able to do justice with their writings if surrounded by the economic crisis. This article throws light on his endeavours for the rights of authors.
