Abstract

The journey to Hajj began its journey since our father Ibrahim Al-Khalil – Peace be upon him - authorized the Hajj for people. Hajj in Islam is a fifth pillar. The journey to Hajj is a blessed journey in which the pilgrim bids farewell to his family and his land in order to establish direct contact with the sacred feelings and carries through his journey many memories in which he recalls the events of the Prophet’s biography, the history of Islam and the sacrifices of the family of our father Ibrahim - peace be upon them - until he completes his duty, completes his asceticism, and returns to his home. Many of them used to record what they witnessed of events, facts, and what went on in their minds of feelings and thoughts. Among these writers is the great writer and author, the famous traveler Dr. Muhammad Hussein Haikal, who was honored with this blessed journey in 1936 AD, and left us memories of that journey in a wonderful book called “Fi Manzil Alwahi.” In this research, we make an exploratory tour of the pages of this journey through The two axes: The first: introducing the literary writer.
