Abstract

Muhammad Hussain Naziri Nishapuri, Indo Persian poet of the late 16th and early 17th centuries. He left his native city of Nishapur as a young man after the death of his father., Though he traveled to western persia as a merchant. He was already an accomplished poet when he met the literary biographer in Kashan. Shortly after the meeting he migrated to India, where he became the first Persian born poet to join the court of the great Mughal statesman and literary patron Abdul Rahim Khan-e khanan, where he honed his skills exchanging verses with experienced poet. He became a literary patron for the new poets from Persia. Ghulam Qadir Girami is considered a prominent poet of Persian. He was deeply influenced by Naziri. The evident proof about there interest in the same topic and even the usage of similar style. In this article an attempt has been made to examine the common elements to the poetry of both famous poet.
