Abstract

Abdul Rasheed is a well-known poet of prose poetry. His prose poems have a new poetic vision.  Abdul 
Rasheed is an important poet of the seventies. Who was a CSP officer by rank. He was also a teacher of English 
literature at Government College Lahore. Many books of his prose poems have been published. His poetic 
experiences have many levels. His style is very broad. Abdul Rasheed's poetry should be seen separately from 
the general tradition of poetry. He describes local and international themes in his poems. His poems are very 
brilliant in terms of crafting.
