Abstract

Murtaza Ashar is a versatile literary person; he is a poet and prose writer as well as an editor of magazine. He has done a lot of work for the promotion of Hamd, Naat and Salam in Multan. Murtaza Ashar's naat writing is a reliable reference to him. He has also compiled several books on these genres. He is a great poet and naat writer. His Naatiya poetry is a full expression of devotion to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Murtaza Ashar has proved that he is capable of presenting his devotion for our Nabi (PBUH) from different angles by writing Hamd, Naat, Salam and Naatiya Mahiye. Murtaza Ashar's naats are a expression of love and truth.
