Abstract

 


Mansha Yad is an important and prominent name of modern Urdu fiction. He started his fiction from the sixth decade of the twentieth century. Nine of his stories’ collections have come to public view. "Band Muthi Mein Jugnu" is Muhammad Mansha Yad's first fiction collection, which was published in 1975 by Mawara Publications, Rawalpindi. "Mas Aur Matti" is a novel collection of two epics by Minsha Yad. It was first published by Zakir Shah in 1980 from Modern Book Depot, Islamabad. The second edition was published in 1957. "Khala Ander Khala" is the third stories collection of Mansha Yad. It was published for the first time in 1938 from the Haramt Press, Rawalpindi. It is a stories collection published in December 1986 at Mother Book Depot, Islamabad. Mansha Yad's fifth stories collection, "Darakht Aadmi", was published in 1990 by Pakistan Books, Lahore


"Door Ki Aawaz" is Mansha Yad's sixth stories collection, which was first published in Pakistan in 1994 by Lahore Books. It is a collection that was published for the first time by Dost Publications, Islamabad with the support of Asif Mahmood. "Khwab Saray" is Mansha Yad's 8th collection published from islamabad in 2005. "Ek Kankar Tehre Pani Mein" is 9th collection of stories published by Dost Publications Islamabad in 2010 under the authority of Asif Mahmood.
